FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD

For God so loved the world,
He gave His only Son,
To die on Calvary’s tree,
From sin to set me free;
Someday He’s coming back,
What glory that will be!
Wonderful His love to me.

THE LOVE OF GOD

The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star,
And reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled,
And pardoned from his sin.

O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure –
The saints’ and angels’ song!

Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill
And every man a scribe by trade,
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Tho’ stretched from the sky.

O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure –
The saints’ and angels’ song!

JESUS IS THE JOY OF LIVING

I have found a wondrous Savior,
Jesus Christ, The Soul’s Delight;
Every blessing of His favor
Fills my heart with hope so bright.

Jesus is the Joy of Living,
He’s the King of Life to me; (Of life to me);
Unto Him my all I’m giving,
His forevermore to be (to be).
I will do what He commands me,
Anywhere He leads I’ll go (I’ll go);
Jesus is the Joy of Living,
He’s the dearest Friend I know.

O what splendor, O what glory,
O what matchless pow’r divine,
Is the Christ of Gospel story,
Christ, the Savior, who is mine.

Jesus is the Joy of Living,
He’s the King of Life to me; (Of life to me);
Unto Him my all I’m giving,
His forevermore to be (to be).
I will do what He commands me,
Anywhere He leads I’ll go (I’ll go);
Jesus is the Joy of Living,
He’s the dearest Friend I know.

FOR THE BEAUTY OF THE EARTH

For the beauty of the earth, for the glory of the skies,
For the love which from birth, over and around us lies,
Lord of all, to Thee we raise this grateful song of praise.

For the joy of human love, brother, sister, parent, child
Friends on earth and Friend above, pleasures pure and undefiled.
Lord of all, to Thee we raise, this our grateful song of praise.

For the gift of Thy dear Son, for the hope of heaven at last,
For the Spirit’s victory won, for the crown when life is past,
Lord of all, to Thee we raise songs of gratitude and praise.

GOD CARES FOR ME

Oh, the lark sings in the meadow,
In the pleasant, flowery meadow,
And a happy song sings he,
And the burden of his trilling.
All the air with music filling,
It is this, “God cares for me.”

God cares for me,
Bright is the day before me,
Where’er I go,
Right well I know
His loving care is O’er me.

Let us join them in their singing,
In their clear and constant singing;
Who should be so glad as we?
For our Father up in heaven
Has to us His own word given,
Saying, “Child, I care for thee.”

God cares for me, bright is the day before me,
Where’er I go, right well I know
His loving care is O’er me.

SABBATH IS A HAPPY DAY

Sabbath is a happy day, happy day, happy day!
Sabbath is a happy day! I love every Sabbath!
Sabbath is a happy day, happy day, happy day!
Sabbath is a happy day! I love every Sabbath!

O DAY OF REST AND GLADNESS

O day of rest and gladness, O day of joy and light,
O balm of care and sadness, most beautiful, most bright;
On thee, the high and lowly, who bend before the throne,
Sing, Holy, holy, holy, to the Eternal One.

A day of sweet reflection thou art a day of love;
A day to raise affection from earth to things above.
New graces ever gaining from this our day of rest,
We seek the rest remaining in mansions of the blest.

WITH JESUS IN THE FAMILY

With Jesus in the family,
Happy, Happy home,
Happy, Happy home.
With Jesus in the family,
Happy, happy home!

With Jesus in the family,
Happy, Happy home,
Happy, Happy home.
With Jesus in the family,
Happy, happy home!

LOVE AT HOME

There is beauty all around,
When there’s love at home;
There is joy in every sound.
When there’s love at home.
Peace and plenty here abide,
Smiling fair on every side;
Time doth softly, sweetly glide,
When there’s love at home.

Chorus:
Love at home,
Love at home,
Time doth softly, sweetly glide,
When there’s love at home.

Jesus make me wholly Thine,
Then, there’s love at home.
May Thy sacrifice be mine,
Then there’s love at home.
Safely from all harm I’ll rest,
With no sinful care distress’d,
Thro Thy tender mercy blessed,
When there’s love at home.

Chorus:
Love at home,
Love at home,
Time doth softly, sweetly glide,
When there’s love at home.

I’M SO GLAD I’M A PART OF THE FAMILY OF GOD

I’m so glad I’m a part of the family of God
I’ve been washed in the fountain
Cleansed by His blood!
Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod
For I’m part of the family, the family of God!

I’m so glad I’m a part of the family of God
I’ve been washed in the fountain
Cleansed by His blood!
Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod
For I’m part of the family, the family of God!

BLEST BE THE TIE THAT BINDS

Blest be the tie that binds our hearts in Christian love!
The fellowship of kindred minds is like to that above.
Before our Father’s throne we pour our ardent prayers;
Our fears, or hopes, our aims are one, our comforts, and our cares.

We share our mutual woes, our mutual burdens bear,
And often for each other flows the sympathizing tear.
When we asunder part, it gives us inward pain;
But we shall still be joined in heart, and hope to meet again.

FEAR THOU NOT

Fear thou not, for I AM
Be not dismayed, for I AM
I AM with thee,
I AM thy God
I will strengthen thee.
I will help thee
Yea, I will uphold thee
With the right hand of my Righteousness
Fear not, Fear not
For I AM!
Fear thou not, for I AM
Be not dismayed, for I AM
I AM with thee,
I AM thy God
I will strengthen thee.
I will help thee
Yea, I will uphold thee
With the right hand of my Righteousness
Fear not, Fear not, For I AM!

THE LORD’S MY SHEPHERD

The Lord’s my Shepherd; I’ll not want.
He makes me down to lie in pastures green;
He leadeth me the quiet waters by.
He leadeth me,
He leadeth me the quiet waters by.

My soul He doth restore again, and me to walk doth make
Within the paths of righteousness, E’en for His own name’s sake;
Within the paths of righteousness, E’en for His own name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk in death’s dark vale, yet will I fear no ill;
For Thou art with me, and Thy rod and staff me comfort still;
For Thou art with me, and Thy rod and staff me comfort still.

My table Thou hast furnished in presence of my foes;
My head Thou dost with oil anoint, and my cup overflows;
My head Thou dost with oil anoint, and my cup overflows.

Goodness and mercy, all my life shall surely follow me,
And in God’s house forevermore my dwelling place shall be.
And in God’s house forevermore my dwelling place shall be.
